Old School, Chopper Heaven, Out West Art Prints

I haven't posted much in the last few days, been setting up my new online Gallery/Store. In addition to the Desert Chopper prints (which I already plugged), the following prints are now available in the Gallery.

Old School

Chopper Heaven

Out West

I didn't want to "clog the blog" with a bunch of sales buttons and crap so that's all going to be in the Gallery where you can chose to look or not. I'll still show and tell here but all the detailed information will be in the Gallery.

This Month's Header and Shameless Plug

SUPPORT MC ART

A detail from the painting "Desert Chopper" was used for February's header.

Above is the entire image of the art .

High quality professionally printed lithographs of this art are available directly from me. The printed image measures 9”x 17.25” on 16”x 24” premium 80 lb. acid free cover stock. Not thin cheap poster paper.

Color detail of the artwork. The MC Art water mark is not on the prints.

The unsigned edition is $16 (includes shipping), in the USA (other countries, contact me for cost). I take PayPal and other forms of payment.

For USA orders, Go to my new online Gallery/Store in the right column. Others or Questions?, contact me at: ckallasart@gmail.com

This print is also available as a signed and numbered limited edition ($35).

I'll be posting more prints soon.

One of my Favorites

Other artists might relate to the back story of this art.

I did this art several years ago. It's one of those special works where everything just comes together naturally. It started with an idea that had been kicking around my noggin for sometime. Later, during a break of selling prints at a Mooneyes Xmas show, I did a rough sketch of the car on a torn scrap of paper. Then, one day much later, I came across the ragged sketch. Instead of redrawing it, I just cut it out, mounted it, and went at it.

It's not the tightest or refined piece but, it's one of my favorites. It seems that when I take a care free off the cuff approach to a project, it turns out best.

The KnuckleReaper was harder to get right

Later, I did the KnuckleReaper art to complement it and although I'm very happy how it turned out, the planning and painting of it didn't have that same creative flow.

If anybody is interested, I have a few small prints of both works. The MC art copy and the large C. Kallas signature are not on the prints.

Veterans Day

This is one of my black and white prints that I hand colored with paint. I did this art a few years back and sold them as black and white prints. Some of the prints I made say "Fuck" instead of "Mess". If anybody is interested I still have them and this hand colored one.

Greetings!

I 'm finally joining in after finding Chopper Dave, Church of Choppers, Glory days Cycles, Born Loser M/C, Nostalgia on wheels, and other related MC blogs. I've found some of the best images on the internet through those sites and now will contribute some images of my own.

Some of the art that I will be posting is available as prints. The KnuckleReaper art above, is one of my favorites and I only have a few prints left. If your interested in it or something else, contact me. Click on the image for a larger view. More to come.

This is my first wack at having my own site. Up to now, my web experience has been as a contributor to Keith Ball's Bikernet.com and selling art and junk on ebay.
